An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 was felt in Uttar Pradesh's Sonbhadra on Monday evening. The tremors were felt at 5.21 pm. No casualties or damages have been reported so far. A few days ago, an earthquake of magnitude 3.2 on the Richter jolted Haryana's Sirsa region.

The NCS stated that the epicentre of the earthquake was located at Latitude 29.87 and Longitude 74.67, at a depth of 10 kilometres. On April 4, tremors were felt in parts of north India as a 5.3-magnitude earthquake hit the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh.
