Eid-ul-Fitr: Shahnawaz Hussain offers Namaz, urges all to maintain social distancing and stay home

BJP national spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain offered Namaz at his residence on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr on Monday.

Speaking to , Hussain said, "Due to COVID-19, we are offering Namaz at home this year since we have to maintain social distance amid the pandemic."

He also took to Twitter earlier today and wrote, "Here's wishing each and everyone a happy and prosperous Eid Mubarak. I urge all to maintain social distancing and stay home. I want all my Muslim brothers to offer the Eid Namaz at home and avoid any gathering, I will do the same."

He added, "I have always hosted an Eid Milan at my residence but this year due to COVID-19 I will miss seeing my friends, colleagues, party leaders, and well wishers at home. I wish good health and happiness for everyone and urge all to maintain social distancing."
