Eight people died while seven were critically injured after a gas cylinder exploded in Uttar Pradesh's Gonda district. A gas cylinder exploded while cooking in a house leaving tow houses completely destroyed. Also, 15 people from both the houses were crushed under the pile and eight people died in the accident. The accident took place at Tikri village in Wazirganj police station area of ​​Gonda district. Seven people injured in the accident have been rushed to hospital for treatment. It is feared that a small boy is trapped under the rubble.

The bodies of two women, two men and four children have so far been exhumed from the rubble of collapsed houses. The seven people found under the pile have been rushed to the hospital by ambulance. The accident took place when a gas cylinder exploded at Nurul Hasan's house in Tikri village. The house of a neighboring fakir also collapsed in the blast.

Upon learning of the blast, a senior police officer and troops from the surrounding police station rushed to the spot. They started relief and rescue work.Eight bodies were then exhumed from the rubble. Meanwhile, the exact reason behind the blast is not understood. However, given the intensity of the explosion, it is difficult to predict anything. A forensic team has arrived at the scene to investigate.

SP Santosh Mishra said, "We got the information from a call that the house collapsed due to an explosion while preparing food." Police and the administration then rushed to the spot and started the rescue operation. Eight people were killed and seven were injured.
