Jaipur, Feb 11 A fresh case will be filed against Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 winner and YouTuber Elvish Yadav in Jaipur after a video went viral showing him being escorted by the police, during his (Elvish Yadav) recent visit to the city.

However, Jaipur Police officials have denied providing him any such security.

Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph addressed the issue saying: "No official escort was provided to anyone. This could be an old video, but no security has been granted as of now. If someone is editing and posting misleading videos, an FIR will be registered after investigation."

Elvish Yadav travelled to Jaipur on February 8 to shoot a music video in Sambhar.

During this visit, he filmed several vlog clips, one of which showed a Jaipur Police Chetak vehicle escorting him to a hotel. Additionally, when he departed for Sambhar, a police emergency response vehicle (112) was seen accompanying his car. The video also captures a moment at Bagru toll, where Elvish's vehicle was allowed to pass without stopping, seemingly due to the presence of the police escort.

The footage, shot from inside his car, was uploaded on Elvish Yadav Vlogs on YouTube on Monday. This isn’t the first time Elvish Yadav has sparked controversy in Jaipur. On February 10, 2024, he was caught on video slapping a man inside a restaurant, an incident that quickly went viral on social media.

Authorities are now investigating his latest video, and legal action may follow based on their findings, said police officials in Jaipur.

According to police officials, Elvish made this video by driving his car behind the police vehicle and created the illusion of an escort.

Additional Commissioner Rameshwar Singh said that if someone is given police protection, then there is special permission for it and a special escort vehicle is given, not vehicles with number 112.

Police clarified that no official escort was given to Elvish.

Police further clarified that an attempt has been made to tarnish the image of the police through this video.

An official said that a case will be registered against Elvish Yadav and the son of the former minister Pratap Khachriyawas who was present with him. The video is being investigated and strict action will be taken against the culprits.
