Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the recently announced plan of Rs 10,000 crore for the real estate sector has shown great results. In order to benefit from this scheme, some projects in Hyderabad, Bangalore as well as Mumbai have come up. We hope that many other projects will also come up by the time the plan expires. This will make it easier for the common man to get his dream home.

Representative of 'Lokmat Samachar' asked many questions to Finance Minister Sitharaman regarding the real estate scheme. The highlights of the question and answer are as follows:

Is there any benefit of the 10 thousand crore rupees real estate scheme?

We have got four projects in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore. So it is clear that people want to enjoy the benefits of the scheme. It seems that more people will also join the scheme. Under the scheme, the announcement of the project involving non-NCLT and court cases were announced. So that the customers of the project without court cases can get benefits.

Will there be any relief to customers in Maharashtra's PMC Bank case?In the case of PMC, negotiations are on with the Reserve Bank so that any non-court action of the PMC Bank can be sold at the earliest to benefit the customers. For this, we are looking at the rules.

Can the customers of PMC bank get more than one lakh rupees as insurance for their deposits? We will try to get the customers of PMC bank as insurance of their deposits from one lakh to five lakh rupees under the legal provisions.

Is the government getting better results on disinvestment? What is happening on the disinvestment of Air India? All disinvestment cases are going on at the right pace. Air India is doing its roadshow. Whenever a step is taken, it takes some time for its results to come. We hope that the situation will improve in the coming time.

There is a fear among the people that the government may discontinue the 2000 rupee note. This is a fantasy. It cannot be called anything other than a white lie.

Can taxpayers get relief in the upcoming budget? What will come in the budget, it will be known in the budget itself. This cannot be publicly discussed.
