A shocking case has emerged from Faridabad, Haryana, where a woman allegedly carried out a brutal attack on her married boyfriend after he refused to marry her. The victim, Gulshan Bajrangi, a resident of Saran village, sustained severe injuries, including fractures in 15 places on his body. Gulshan, who runs a mobile phone shop in Jawahar Colony, met Gunjan (the accused) in 2019. Their acquaintance soon blossomed into a romantic relationship, and they remained together for nearly seven years. However, Gulshan was already married since 2015 and is a father of three. Gunjan, on the other hand, had been living separately from her husband and was involved in an ongoing divorce case.
According to the statement given by Gulshan to the police, Gunjan had been constantly pressuring him to marry her. When Gulshan refused due to his existing family commitments, it led to frequent arguments. Matters took a violent turn on March 29, when Gulshan demanded the return of ₹21.50 lakh that he had previously given to Gunjan.
Angered by the demand, Gunjan, along with her father Rakesh, mother Kiran Kamal, and 4–5 others, allegedly attacked Gulshan with sticks and knives. He was left badly injured on the roadside. Locals found him and immediately informed the police, who rushed him to a nearby hospital. He is currently undergoing treatment, and his condition is said to be stable. Police have registered an FIR and launched an investigation against the accused. This disturbing incident serves as a grim reminder of how relationships gone wrong can sometimes escalate into extreme violence.
