Chennai, Jan 12 At least four passengers, including a woman, were electrocuted while 10 others received injuries after their bus came in contact with a power transmission line in Tamil Nadu's Thanjavur district, police said on Tuesday.

According to the police, the private bus carrying about 50 passengers fell into a pit while overtaking a lorry and came in contact with the live power cable at Varagur village.

The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital.
