After the Vikas Dubey encounter, a similar incident took place after a gangster from Uttar Pradesh, who was arrested from Mumbai, died after a car belonging to a Lucknow police team overturned in Madhya Pradesh around 6:30 am on Sunday. 

Four including, three police personnel, were injured in the accident.

The wanted criminal Feroz Ali alias Shammi died on the spot. A case was registered against gangster Feroze in 2014 at Thakurganj police station in Lucknow. After this, Feroze had absconded. During the investigation, it was revealed that Feroze was in Mumbai. Feroze's address was received a few days ago. Assistant sub-inspector Jagdish Prasad Pandey and constable Sanjeev Singh, posted at Lucknow's Thakurganj police station, had gone to Mumbai in a private vehicle in search of the accused, an official said.

Police nabbed Feroz Ali from a slum in Nala Sopara, Mumbai, on Saturday. They left for Lucknow soon after arresting him.

The accident took place on NH 26 national highway in Madhya Pradesh's Guna district. According to a witness, the door of the vehicle flew opened immediately after the accident, throwing Feroz Ali, Afzal and Sanjeev out of the car.

Jagdish Prasad told the police that a cow suddenly appeared on the road. As a result, the driver lost control and the car overturned. However, some people on the spot said that the driver was napping when the accident took place.
