A leopard triggered panic at a school in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad district on Wednesday morning, February 25, forcing school authorities to evacuate the premises and suspend ongoing examinations.

According to the news agency IANS, the animal was spotted entering the Green Field School in Govindpuram when students were arriving for their papers, leading to an immediate emergency response from local police and the Uttar Pradesh Forest Department with the help of CCTV footage.
The incident was reported at around 8.15 am on Wednesday, while students and teachers were entering the school premises. The school administration immediately informed Forest Department Chief Officer Isha Tiwari and shared a video of the leopard. The forest department, with the help of net and rescue equipment, safely captured the big cat.
