In a disturbing incident from Modinagar, Ghaziabad, a local vendor has been taken into custody for allegedly molesting an 11-year-old girl. The incident took place around 11 AM when the young girl had gone to a street cart to purchase some items. According to Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Gyan Prakash Rai, “Around 11 AM, when the 11-year-old daughter went to a cart to buy some items, the cart vendor misbehaved with her... The accused, Jagdish, has been taken into custody.”

A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against the accused under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
