Goa Police Chief Pranab Nanda Dies of Cardiac Arrest

Goa DGP Pranab Nanda died of cardiac arrest in the wee hours of Saturday in New Delhi revealed Inspector General of Police Jaspal Singh.

Goa DGP Pranab Nanda died of cardiac arrest in the wee hours of Saturday in New Delhi revealed Inspector General of Police Jaspal Singh. The 1988 batch IPS officer was transferred to Goa this year by the Ministry of Home affairs. Nanda was also a recipient of numerous awards. 

Condoling the shock demise, BJP leader and former MP Narendra Sawaikar tweeted, "Saddened by the news of demise of Director General of Goa Police Shri Pranab Nanda (IPS). My prayers are with his family. Om Shanti.'' Pranab's wife, Sundari Nanda has also served as Director General of Police of Puducherry. She was associated to the Intelligence Bureau for nearly two decades.
