How much did prices rise today?
On Tuesday, gold prices on the MCX had closed at ₹1,49,838 per 10 grams, and silver prices at ₹2,44,420 per kilogram. Compared to yesterday's closing rates, gold prices witnessed an increase of ₹1,971 per 10 grams today, while silver prices rose by ₹6,079 per kilogram.
What is the reason behind the rally in gold and silver?
Commodity markets are bullish today, both globally and domestically, largely due to easing Middle East tensions. President Trump's desire to negotiate a final agreement with Iran, demonstrated by halting military strikes and suspending the 'Freedom Project,' has led to declining crude oil prices and a stronger overall commodity market.

Over the past few days, silver prices had been witnessing a steeper decline compared to gold. Conversely, today, a more pronounced increase has been recorded in silver rates relative to gold. Silver prices across various cities are as follows: Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru: ₹2,65,000 per kilogram. Chennai: Rs 2,70,000 per kg.
