A shocking chain-snatching incident took place early this morning, March 12, in Kukatpally's KPHB area. The incident, which was captured on CCTV, shows a masked man following 50-year-old Anjali into her house near the Temple bus stop after pretending to ask for water.

The footage reveals that Anjali had just finished drawing a rangoli in front of her house when the miscreant approached her. Under the guise of asking for a drink of water, the suspect gained access to her home. Once inside, he swiftly snatched a one-tola gold chain from Anjali’s neck and fled the scene.

At the time of the incident, Anjali’s husband had stepped out to purchase milk, leaving her alone in the house. Authorities have launched an investigation into the crime, and the CCTV footage is being reviewed to track down the suspect.
