To increase the income of farmers, the Modi government has launched the digital platform Kisan Sarathi. On this digital platform, farmers will be informed about crops and other matters, that too in their own language. Also with this digital platform, farmers will be able to sell their crops and vegetables properly in the market. Meanwhile, Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnav jointly launched the Kisan Sarathi digital platform through video conferencing.

Union Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that through the digital platform, farmers can directly seek personal advice from scientists in agriculture and related fields. Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that research should be done on new technical interventions in the field of delivery of foodgrains to farmers in their fields, godowns, markets and other places so that farmers can sell their produce at lower cost. Research should be done on new technical interventions on delivery of grain to farmers in their fields, warehouses, markets and other places. Therefore, farmers will be able to sell their produce at a lower cost, said Minister Ashwini Vaishnav.

What is the benefit of Kisan Sarathi to farmers?

With the help of digital platform Kisan Sarathi, farmers can get information about good crop, right amount of produce and many other basics. Farmers can get any information related to the crop directly from scientists through digital platforms. Also, farmers can learn new farming methods.
