Power supply to be disrupted in several locations in Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur on Friday, April 3, 2026. This supply disruption is for the road widening and power line shifting work. Supply will be suspended from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM to ensure the safe completion of the work.

Power department has clarified that supply will be restored immediately upon the completion of the work. Consumers are advised to plan their daily routines keeping this schedule in mind to avoid any unnecessary inconvenience.

Affected areas

Power outages are scheduled for the Western Janpriya Feeder (Industrial Estate Substation), Vikas Nagar and Bargadwa Feeders (Vikas Nagar Substation), and the Ramgarh Feeder (Khorabar Substation). Residents in these areas should plan accordingly.

Power outages are scheduled until the specified time in the Lalpur Teekar Feeder (Lohia Enclave Substation), Moti Pokhra and Krishna Nagar Feeders (Raptinagar Substation), and Maghar North Feeder (Sahjanwa Substation), impacting several prominent city neighborhoods. Rural areas connected to the Harpur Anantpur and Gangtahi Substations will also experience disruptions starting in the morning.
