Gandhinagar (Gujarat) [India], January 29 : Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Thursday visited Lord Dwarkadhish in Dwarka. He prayed for the happiness, peace and prosperity of the people of the state, and performed Paduka Pujan as per scriptural rituals.

As per the official release, the CM greeted the devotees present in the temple premises and extended 'Jai Dwarkadhish' greetings to everyone.

The district administration presented Patel with an uparna, a replica of the Dwarka Temple, flowers, Anugraham agarbatti (incense sticks) made from flowers and tulsi, and prasad.

Along with the Chief Minister at the Dwarkadhish Temple were former Minister and MLA Mulubhai Bera, District Collector Rajesh Tanna, Superintendent of Police Jayrajsinh Vala, prominent leader Shri Mayurbhai Gadhvi and other local officials.

Recently, Bhupendra Patel has flagged off 183 such vehicles at Sasan Gir on Thursday morning.

The specially equipped vehicles have been provided to forest personnel for conservation, protection, rescue, and rehabilitation work.

The Forest Department has made available 174 field bikes, 6 Bolero Campers, and 3 modified rescue vehicles for patrolling, protection, and rescue operations by forest field staff.

Before flagging off the vehicles, the CM went for an early morning lion sighting and began the day in Gir Forest, enjoying the experience amid nature.

This event was attended by Principal Secretary of Forest and Environment Dr. Vinod Rao, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Dr. Jaipal Singh, and senior officials.
