Speaking about the procurement, Vaghani stated that 10,01,724 farmers sent SMS requests for MSP procurement, while a total of 8,23,743 beneficiaries have had their crops purchased.

“A total of 18,05,612.16 metric tons of crops have been procured, valued at Rs 12,965.37 crore, and payments worth Rs 9,907.86 crore have been made to 6,33,149 beneficiaries,” he said.

He further noted that in the current financial year 2025-26, between September 1 and 22, 2025, 10,11,936 farmers registered online.

Registration for groundnut this year has risen to 9.31 lakh farmers, compared to 3.74 lakh last year.

The Central Government has approved the purchase of 20.10 lakh metric tons of groundnut. MSP procurement in the state began on November 9 last year and will continue until February 6.

The total value of crops procured this Kharif season is estimated at around Rs 15,000 crore.

Registration for tur dal started on December 22, 2025, and up to January 20, 2026, 1,30,640 farmers registered on the e-Samruddhi portal.

As per the Central Government's guidelines, procurement of tur, urad, and masoor can cover up to 100 per cent of the state’s total production.

Vaghani highlighted that, for the first time, Aadhaar-enabled biometric or face authentication is used for procurement from registered farmers.

The scheme also includes nominee-based sales, instant DBT payments to Aadhaar-seeded bank accounts, and regular inspections of procurement centres at district and taluka levels by vigilance committees.
