A fire broke out at a textile manufacturing company in the Special Economic Zone in Gandhidham, Kandla. The company is involved in textile production. Firefighters are working to bring the blaze under control. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
Earlier in the day, a massive fire erupted at Shubh Plaza Complex in Bhaiya Nagar in Surat’s Puna area. Officials suspect the fire started due to a short circuit in a clothing shop. Fire brigade teams rushed to the spot and are making efforts to contain the flames.
No casualties have been reported in either incident so far. Authorities are investigating the cause of both fires.
