At least 13 schools in Gujarat received threatening emails containing a warning to blow-up schools premises. Eight schools of Vadodara and five in Ahmedabad received emails mentioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Emails also stated that 'Gujarat will become Khalistan' and ‘Hindustan will be divided into pieces’.

After receiving the information, police, along with bomb disposal squads and fire brigade officials, quickly mobilised and began searching the premises of schools. The school have been immediately evacuated, and school buses and other vehicles were also checked.

As a precautionary measure, the hostel at Urmi School in Vadodara was also evacuated. There are concerns that other schools may have received similar threats, according to the Bhaskar English report.

Minister Rivaba Jadeja said, "Strict action is being taken. Such threats are being received not only in schools but also at other places. The government is working to take strict action against those issuing these threats..."

Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi said, "Instructions have been given to the DGP regarding the bomb threats in the state. Investigations are underway into the bomb threats in Ahmedabad and Vadodara. The Police Commissioners of both cities are looking into the matter..."

Bomb Threat to 8 Schools in Vadodara

D.R. Amin, Vasna Road, Urmi, Samasavali Nalanda, Waghodia Road, Baroda High School, Bagikhana New Age, Sama Life Practice, Nagharwada AWS, Dabhoi Shanen, Khodiyarnagar.

DCP Andrew Macwan said, "Three schools in our zone have received these threat emails, and the investigation is ongoing. Our teams are at the schools. Investigation of all schools is underway. So far, we haven't found anything. The email mentions Khalistan, and the investigation into the source of the email is ongoing. The cyber team is working on it."

Bomb Threat to 5 Schools in Ahmedabad

DAV International School, Makarba Asia School, Vastrapur A One School, Satellite Ankur International School, Krishnanagar Sant Kabir, Navrangpura. Ahmedabad schools receive threat email written in Punjabi, warning of a bomb blast. Crime Branch teams begin investigation, said DCP Ajit Rajyan.
