A private luxury bus met with a tragic accident at Saputara Ghat on the Nashik-Gujarat highway early this morning. The bus fell into a 200-foot-deep gorge, resulting in the death of 7 passengers, while 15 others are critically injured.

The accident occurred around 5:30 am when the bus, traveling from Nashik to Gujarat for Devdarshan, lost control and plunged into the valley. The impact was so severe that the bus broke into two pieces.

All the deceased and injured passengers are said to be residents of Madhya Pradesh. Rescue operations are underway, and the injured have been rushed to nearby hospitals. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
