In a shocking bit of news, Sunil Agarwal, one of Gujarat's most influential property broker's was found hanging in his house in Surya Plaza on Bhatar Road. Police has recovered a suicide note from the 50-year old. In the note it was mentioned, ‘Main tumhare liye kuchh nahi kar paya, mujhe maaf kar dena – I coudn’t do anything for you, please forgive me. ’Agarwal’s son Rakshit first spotted his father hanging from the ceiling in the kitchen when he woke up to drink water at around 6.30am. The family members called an ambulance and the police were informed. Police sent the body for post mortem in which death due to hanging was confirmed.

“It’s a suicide but the exact reason is yet to be ascertained. Nothing is clear from the suicide note and family members are also not raising doubts about any specific reason that could have driven him to take the extreme step,,” said a police officer in Khatodara police station. “So far, no details related to the financial crisis or disputes have come to our knowledge. But due to the current market situation, it is possible that he was facing some trouble. We are also checking if there was some dispute in the family,” said police.
