A delivery boy was allegedly kidnapped on Wednesday evening, January 21, in a filmy-style incident near the Suzuki Company on SPR Road in the Kherki Daula police station area in Gurugram, following a dispute over money. According to the police, the victim was assaulted and abducted by a group of men who arrived in two vehicles. A complaint filed by the victim’s family, the police traced the accused within 15 minutes, rescued the delivery boy and arrested two suspects.
A case has been registered at Kherki Daula police station based on the complaint of Manjeet, a delivery boy from Charkhi Dadri. He told police that he works for a private delivery company in Gurugram. On Wednesday at around 10.05 pm, he was returning after completing deliveries with his colleague Pankaj.
When they reached near the Suzuki Company on SPR Road, a Swift car suddenly blocked their Eeco vehicle. Moments later, an MG Hector also arrived at the spot. Jaibeer, Aman and a few others stepped out of the vehicles, forcibly pulled Manjeet out and assaulted him with kicks, punches and sticks. The accused then allegedly threatened to kill him and abducted him in their car.
After the accused fled, Pankaj immediately informed the police control room. An ERV team of the Gurugram Police reached the area, traced the vehicle about five kilometres away on SPR Road, rescued Manjeet and detained the suspects.

Gurugram Police PRO Sandeep Kumar said, "In the entire incident, which occurred around 10:05 pm last evening, Gurugram Police received information through Dial 112 that a person on the roadside was being assaulted and an attempt was being made to forcefully put him into a vehicle.
