A massive fire broke out in the slums at Basai Chowk in Haryana's Gurugram in early hours of Saturday, March 29. Over 100 huts burnt into ashes in the blaze. Fire tenders and police teams arrived at the scene to assist in evacuation and relief efforts. 

Upon receiving the distress call from local residents, at least six fire brigade vehicles were dispatched to control the blaze. After nearly one and a half hours of intense efforts, firefighters managed to douse the flames.

Fire Engulf Slum Area in Gurugram

Fortunately, no casualties have been reported in the incident. The fire is believed to have begun around 5:30 AM, but the exact cause remains unknown. Authorities are currently investigating the matter.
