A man in Gwalior has claimed that his life is in danger after his wife left him and moved in with her lover. The incident comes days after a woman in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, allegedly killed her husband with her lover’s help, cut his body into 15 pieces, and stored them in a drum. Amit Kumar Sen from Gwalior said his wife has several boyfriends and is currently in a live-in relationship with one of them. He alleged that when he objected, his wife’s lover threatened to kill him.

Wife Leaves Home, Moves in With Lover

Amit's wife had multiple relationships even after marriage. She is now living with a man named Rahul Batham. She also took her younger child with her. Amit further claimed that his wife and her lover killed his elder son, Harsh. He said he now fears for his own life.

No Action by Police, Appeals to Chief Minister

Amit said he had approached the police several times but no action was taken. Frustrated, he staged a protest at Phoolbagh Chowk under a poster of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. He appealed to the chief minister for protection and said if action is not taken soon, he could be killed like the victim in the Meerut case.

Police Response

Officials from the Janakganj police station said Amit has not filed any formal complaint. They added that if he had submitted an application earlier, it would be reviewed. However, Amit insists that he has repeatedly sought police help but has not received any response.
