A massive fire broke out in a slum cluster in Arjun Nagar, Pilkhuwa, Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh, on Monday morning, April 27, causing panic in the surrounding area as the blaze spread to two nearby industrial units.
After receiving the information, eight fire tenders were deployed and were working to douse the fire. According to initial reports, 40 'jhuggis' have been saved by firefighters.

Fire brigade teams reached the scene and began efforts to bring the blaze under control. "A fire broke out in a slum cluster here. With the help of 8 fire tenders, 40 'jhuggis' have been saved. The fire spread to two nearby industrial units. The fire is being brought under control," said Chief Fire Officer Ajay Sharma.
