In a shocking case from Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, the brutal murder of a 12-year-old girl from Kusumba village under Bishnugarh police station has been solved by the authorities. The investigation revealed that the crime was linked to superstition, black magic, and alleged ritual worship, with the victim’s own mother implicated in the case. The girl, a Class 6 student, had gone missing on Tuesday evening after attending a Ram Navami Mangla procession in her village. She was reportedly seen dancing in the procession but did not return home. Her family searched for her throughout the night but could not trace her.
Her body was discovered early on Wednesday in an open field by locals. According to police, her face had been crushed with a stone, and a small piece of wood was found inserted in her private parts. Authorities initially suspected rape and murder, which were later confirmed as part of the investigation. The family, grieving and enraged, demanded immediate arrest and strict punishment for those responsible.
