The temperature across the India is on rise, as per the IMD prediction the heatwave will get intense in parts of Northwest India till April 10. The report suggest that temporary relied is expected soon after with the light rainfall forecast to bring down the soaring temperatures. Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, are currently experiencing not just the daytime heatwaves but also warmer night conditions, which is creating the discomfort. Maharashtra's Pune Lohegaon saw the highest temperature of the season with mercury rising up to 42.2 degree Celsius. Taking into consideration of increased heatwave the MET has advised residents to not go out between 11 am to 4pm.
Meanwhile the Bengaluru is likely to experience rainfall until April 12, following the heavy rains across Karnataka in late march. The heatwave conditions are likely to continue in Delhi NCR, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh and West Uttar Pradesh Till April 10, while in NCR heatwave will persist for at least next two days, after which light rainfall is expected.

Rain Forecast in the Northeast and South:
Rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning is likely in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, and Meghalaya due to a low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal. Isolated hailstorms are expected in parts of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh on April 9, caused by a fresh western disturbance.The IMD has also predicted rain with thunderstorms in most parts of Odisha over the next three days. A yellow alert has been issued for districts including Rayagada, Koraput, Mayurbhanj, and Kalahandi, where heavy rainfall is expected.
