Himachal Pradesh: A tractor-trolley carrying 35 pilgrims from Punjab returning from Chintpurni Temple to Jwalamukhi Temple overturned at a sharp turn near Dhaliyara in Himachal Pradesh. This accident occurred on Friday April 10, leaving three people from Punjab dead  and 13 injured.  Six critically injured individuals were referred to RGMC Tanda. Nine children and other passengers were unharmed. Police, with help from locals, transported the injured to the hospital. The families of the deceased and injured have been notified.

Police team reached at the spot and began inspecting the site, necessary legal proceedings were initiated. Following the accident, injured were shifted to hospital for the medical assistance and authorities are the inspecting the site.  A case is being registered at the Dehra Police Station under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Motor Vehicles Act.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident after collecting evidence from the site. In light of recent accidents, police advised drivers to avoid overloading vehicles, adhere to speed limits, exercise caution on hilly roads, and refrain from driving under the influence. They also stressed the mandatory use of seatbelts and helmets and pre-journey vehicle inspections.
