According to the Shimla weather department, due to a Western disturbance, Himachal Pradesh will witness cold weather conditions on March 26 and 27. A yellow alert for thunderstorms and lightning has been issued for several districts. Districts like Chamba, Lahaul Spiti, Kangra, Kullu, and Mandi are likely to receive rainfall with light snowfall today and tomorrow.

However, the weather remained clear from March 28. According to Shimla meteorologist Sandeep Kumar Sharma, a yellow alert for thunderstorms and lightning has been issued for Kangra, Kullu, Mandi, the higher belt of Shimla, and Chamba.

On Tuesday, several districts, including Una, Bilaspur, Sundernagar, Kangra, Mandi, Dhaula Kuan, and Barathi, reported maximum temperatures of 30 degrees Celsius. Due to the active western disturbance in the middle and high hills of Himachal, rain and snowfall are forecast on Wednesday and Thursday.
