New Delhi, Feb 24 Fringe organisation Hindu Sena organised a "Vishwa Shanti Yagya" on Monday after US President Donald Trump reached India.

Hindu Sena Chief Vishnu Gupta said he sought "blessings from our Hindu Gods to bless India's PM Modi and US President Trump to join forces and fight alongside each other to free the world from radical Islamic terrorism, which is the biggest threat to mankind and wipe off these enemies of humanity from the face of the earth".

"We pray that all pending deals between India and the US are fulfilled with mutual understanding and respect and benefit both countries," he said.

He said the outfit is very excited to receive "Hindus' faithful friend in the White House".

Trump is known for his strong views against Islamic hardliners and the Hindu Sena too never shied away from exhibiting it's non liking for Islamic radicalism.

The yagya was organised at Delhi's Jantar Mantar.

This is not the first time Gupta tried to catch eyeballs by showing his affection for Trump. Earlier, he organised birthday celebrations for the US President where a cake weighing 7-kg was cut and fed to a large poster of Trump.

Just as India announced Trump's arrival plans, the outfit released a video message where it called him the "saviour of humanity".

The Hindu Sena, however, remains just a fringe outfit which has made headlines by objecting to beef allegedly served in Delhi's Kerala House canteen to celebrate Valentine's Day.

Earlier this month, it warned youngsters against public displays of affection on February 14. It in fact wrote to the Delhi police commissioner in this regard as well.
