Union Home Minister Amit Shah has made a big claim about the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He said that BJP will get 370 seats and NDA more than 400 seats and will form the government for the third time in a row under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Shah said that there is no suspense over the results of the Lok Sabha elections and even the Congress and other opposition parties have realized that they will have to sit on the opposition bench again.

During a TV programme, Amit Shah said, 'We have abrogated (Article 370 of the Constitution, which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir). So we believe that the people of the country will bless BJP with 370 seats and NDA with more than 400 seats.'

CAA will be implemented before the Lok Sabha elections.

On the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA), Shah said the law was passed in 2019. Rules in this regard will be implemented before the Lok Sabha elections after promulgation. Shah said, 'CAA is the law of the country, its notification will definitely be done. There is no confusion about the CAA before the elections. '

He said, 'Our Muslim brothers are being misled and provoked against the CAA. CAA is meant to grant citizenship only to those who have come to India after facing persecution in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. No one has taken Indian citizenship away.'
