Hyderabad gangrape murder: Police makes shocking revelations of the crime

The horrific rape and murder of a young veterinarian in Telangana has left the country shocked and angry. The Hyderabad police have made some shocking revelations in the case of gang rape and murder of  the woman. Police have said that the accused took the victim to the cabin of the truck and forcibly made her drink liquor which made her unconscious and they took turns to rape her. The police have arrested four accused and they are being questioned.According to the report of the news agency IANS, the police report stated that the perpetrators showed no mercy and raped when the victim was pleading for help. Two senior officials investigating the case said that petrol pump attendants and a tire mechanic found important clues to the incident, which helped in locating  the accused.

The attendants said that at around 12.30 pm on Thursday, two people had reached the red colored scooty for petrol, which is one of the accused. At the same time, the tire mechanic who works near the toll plaza told the police that a red two-wheeler came to fill up air on Wednesday night.

According to the police report, the victim was raped by one of the accused between 9.30 pm-10.20 pm. Investigations have revealed that the victim died due to tight grip on the mouth and nose. She was suffocated. On Saturday, the four accused have been sent to judicial custody for 14 days.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had ordered an expeditious court to be set up for speedy hearing of the case and promised to provide all necessary help to the victim's family. Rao, while making a public statement for the first time after the incident, described it as 'gruesome' and expressed deep grief.
