Several parts of Hyderabad are expected to witness temporary power disruptions on Sunday as the Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TGSPDCL) carries out scheduled maintenance and repair work on electricity lines and feeders.
Officials said the planned outage is aimed at strengthening the power distribution network and preventing technical faults in the future. Consumers have been advised to plan their daily activities accordingly.
As part of routine feeder maintenance, repair works are being undertaken across the Khairatabad division, resulting in temporary suspension of electricity supply in multiple residential, commercial, and government office areas during specified hours.
Power Cut Timings and Affected Areas
10 am to 1 pm:
Power supply will remain suspended in Sangeet Nagar, Japadia Lane, Red Rose Hotel area, Civil Supplies Bhavan Street, Erramanjil Main Road, Khairatabad Main Road, Naser School Street, and NTR Gardens. Areas near Imams Circle, Parishram Bhavan, Aayakar Bhavan, L&T Construction Building, and Poolbagh will also be affected.
11 am to 3 pm:
Electricity supply will be disrupted around Nizam College, Law College, United Insurance Building, King Kothi Share Gate, Highline Chowrasta, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Dikneerwala Sweet Shop, and parts of Hyderguda.
2 pm to 5 pm:
Outages will impact areas near Khairatabad Police Station, Shadan College, Pawani Plaza, KN Xerox, HDFC, Diamond Towers, Ravindra Nagar, Sai Ram Apartments, Murali Pan Shop, Renuka Apartments, the Judge’s Office, and Babukhan Estate. Power cuts will also continue near LB Stadium Main Road, the Commissionerate, Nizam Hostel, Jagadamba Jewellers building, Hyderguda, and the MLA Quarters
