Power supply will be disrupted in several areas of Golnaka area in Hyderabad today Thursday, March 5,2026. Power department officials revealed that this decision has been taken due to the annual maintenance work of power lines and the careful removal of tree branches before the monsoon season. Officials said that in order to provide uninterrupted power supply in the city, it is imperative to remove tree branches obstructing the power lines.

Power supply will be suspended at two different times due to repair work:From 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, during this time, there will be no power supply mainly in Rajendra Oil Mill and its surrounding areas. During these two hours, line inspection and basic repairs will be carried out. 

From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM

There will be power outages in key areas during the afternoon session. The vicinity of Sundarayya Vigyan Kendra, MLA Quarters area in Hyderguda, Vitthal Wadi in Narayanaguda and its adjoining areas. The supply disruption in these areas for about three hours is likely to cause some inconvenience to the locals.The electricity department officials are issuing the following instructions to the public. Preliminary work: Work like installing pumping motors and charging electronic gadgets should be completed before the cut-off time.
