Hyderabad : Several parts of city will be facing water disruption on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. This disruption is for the for urgent maintenance and repair work on a key pumping main which supports water distribution to large parts of the city. Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board announced a water supply suspension to repair major leakages in the Manjeera Phase-II pipeline, a key source of the city's drinking water.
According to officials, multiple leakages were reported along the 1500-mm diameter PSC pumping main, prompting immediate maintenance to prevent further losses and stabilise supply. The stoppage is due to ongoing repair works on the Manjeera Phase-II pumping main between Patancheru and Hydernagar, as well as between Kalabgur and Patancheru, there will be a 40-hour disruption in water supply starting 6 a.m. on Wednesday.
Maintenance is likely to continue till 10 p.m. on Thursday, February 12. Officials stated that the some areas will receive low water pressure, while others are likely to experience a complete water shutdown during this period. The interruption will affect residential and commercial areas city-wide. Residents in the following locations should plan accordingly:
RC Puram, Ashok Nagar, Jyothi Nagar, Lingampally, Chandanagar, Gangaram, Madinaguda, Miyapur, Beeramguda, Ameenpur, Bhagyanagar Colony, Erragadda, SR Nagar, Ameerpet, KPHB Colony, KukatpallyBhagyanagar Colony (Pragathi Nagar)

Advisory for Residents
