Hyderarabad rape & murder case: Prakash Ambedkar demands inquiry against the police in encounter of accused

Four men accused of gang raping and murdering a young veterinarian in Telangana were shot dead by police earlier this morning when they tried to escape the scene of the crime where they were taken to recreate the incident as part of investigation.

The incident had shocked and angered the whole nation. The killing of the four accused has sparked different types of reactions across the nation.

Prakash Ambedkar, president of the political party called the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi has demanded an inquiry against the Hyderabad police. He said, 'All were accused but not proven guilty. A similar incident took place in Chhattisgarh, where 36 people were killed as Naxalites while they were not Naxalites. Prakash Ambedkar blamed the politicians for this and said that the political leaders are giving wrong orders. The accused cannot be terminated in this way, he said, adding that the matter could have been settled in a fast track court within a month or two.On the other hand, Mayawati, president of Bahujan Samaj Party, has praised the Telangana Police.
