Chandigarh, Jan 8 Chief Marshal A.P. Singh, the Chief of the Air Staff, will deliver the keynote address for the first Air Commodore Mehar Singh Memorial Talk at the Air Force Station in Chandigarh on Friday, the Ministry of Defence said in a statement on Thursday.
The talk has been organised by the Air Force Association (North Zone) and will be conducted at the Arjan Singh Auditorium, 12 Wing, AF in Chandigarh.
Air Chief Marshal (retd) S. Krishnaswamy; Air Marshal (retd) Jagjeet Singh; senior Vice-President of Air Force Association, Air Marshal (retd) Sukhchain Singh, President of the Air Force Association (North Zone), Senior officers of the Indian Air Force (IAF), both serving and retired, will be present at the event.
Air Commodore Mehar Singh, a Mahavir Chakra awardee for Distinguished Service Order, affectionately known as 'Baba' Mehar Singh, is a legendary figure in the IAF.
