At least four people were killed and two others critically injured in a tragic accident in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur district. The fatal incident occurred on Thursday morning, April 10, when a speeding SUV lost control, broke through the side railing of a bridge, and plunged about 30 feet into a dry riverbed.
The accident happened around 4 a.m. along the Chargawan-Jabalpur road, approximately 30 kilometres from the district headquarters. The injured victims were rushed to a nearby hospital, where their condition remains critical. According to reports, the vehicle was returning from the Dulha Temple in Narsinghpur.

Upon receiving the information, the local police arrived at the scene, used a cutter to open the vehicle, and retrieved the bodies. The injured were immediately transported for medical treatment. Preliminary investigations suggest that all the occupants of the SUV were under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident, which is believed to be a major contributing factor. Further investigation is underway.
