A fire broke out at the house of political leader Jaffar Wani in Chatroo, District Kishtwar of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday morning, April 2. According to the video shared, it is learned that the blaze erupted at around 11 am today. As of now, no reports on injuries or casualties in the incident.

Authorities are investigating, and further details are awaited. The news agency IANS reported another fire incident in Wani Pora, Chatroo. A video shared by the IANS shows huge smoke coming out of a house as it engulfed a massive blaze.

Earlier, fire broke out in the forestry area near the Tulip Garden, Srinagar. Firefighters were joined by personnel from the Urban Forestry Division and the Tourism Development Corporation to control the spreading flames. Officials have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
