Several houses, shops, and complexes were gutted in a fire that broke out in the early hours of Tuesday, March 4, in Tak Mohalla of the Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir. An emergency and rescue team was at the spot to bring the blaze under control.

According to the information, the emergency call was received by the fire department at around 3.50 am on Tuesday. After the call, the F&ES Shopian company—under the command of Pulwama, rushed to the spot and is currently engaged in dousing operations.

However, no injuries or casualties were reported in the incident. Once the fire is under control, the reason for the massive blaze will be investigated.
