The death of 30-year-old Ravi Dhirajlal Markana in a road accident on April 6 has taken a shocking turn after police uncovered a murder plot involving his wife and her boyfriend. Police arrested Ravi’s wife, Rinkle, and her boyfriend, Akshay Dangaria, after an investigation revealed they had been planning to kill him for over a year. The case came to light when Ravi’s father questioned Rinkle about the incident, and she broke down in tears. Her behavior raised police suspicion, leading to a deeper probe.

On the evening of April 6, Ravi was returning to Jamnagar on his Bullet motorcycle from Kalavad. Unaware of the danger ahead, his wife had shared his location with Akshay, who followed him in a Compass SUV. He then rammed into Ravi’s bike, killing him on the spot. What initially appeared to be an accident was later confirmed as a premeditated murder, police said.

According to the investigation, Rinkle and Akshay were in an extramarital affair, which had led to frequent arguments at home. The situation escalated, resulting in the fatal plan. Akshay had already divorced his wife, and Rinkle was considering divorcing Ravi as well.

Ravi’s uncle, Paresh Markana, said the family first believed it was an accident but later found out it was a planned murder. The family has demanded justice, stating they had suspicions but lacked concrete evidence.

Police have arrested both suspects. Ravi was married for eight years and is survived by his four-year-old son.
