Jhansi's Kakrbai area will be facing scheduled power supply disruption for five hours daily from March 12, 2026 to 16th March. This supply disruption will be due to work being carried out under the  Green Corridor-2 project of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).

According to Dainik Bhaskar reports, Sub-engineer Ram Bhavan Chauhan stated that Uttar Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation Limited will be carrying out tower stringing work on the 400 kV DC Quad Moose Orai-Garautha line. Due to this, the power supply to the 33 kV line of the 33/11 kV substation Kakarbai will be affected by the 132 kV Gursarai line.

Daily power disruptions will occur from 6:00 am to 11:00 am, affecting all 11 kV rural feeders connected to the Kakarbai substation. Residents are requested to cooperate as the department undertakes this essential work.
