Jamshedpur, Jharkhand (April 21, 2025): Vinay Kumar Singh, the Jharkhand state president of Karni Sena, was found dead with a bullet injury to his head on Sunday. A pistol was found in his left hand, Jamshedpur Police said, ANI reported. According to Hazaribagh police, Singh had been missing since Sunday morning. After the complaint, his mobile location was traced, and the body was recovered.

A police officer told news agency PTI that Singh was allegedly shot by unidentified people on Sunday evening. The incident took place near a hotel on National Highway-33 when Singh was returning home with others. He reportedly died on the spot. Police said they are investigating the case from all possible angles. 

According to the regional media reports, members of the Karni Sena blocked traffic at Mango Dimna Chowk in protest. They demanded the immediate arrest of those responsible and completely shut down traffic on National Highway 33. Police and two deputy superintendents of police reached the spot and tried to pacify the crowd. However, the situation remained tense.
