Jharkhand: A 32-year-old man and his sister-in-law found hanging from a tree in Ranchi. Initial investigation revealed that they were in relationship and reportedly died by suicide as their family were against their relation.

According to PTI reports, Man was married to the 19-year-old woman's elder sister. He came with his wife to her house to attend wedding. Both man and sister-in-law decided to end their life. The bodies were found hanging from a tree near Pagla Baba ground at Manjhitoli, according to Ram Kumar Verma, officer-in-charge of the Bundu police station. A post-mortem examination has been ordered. 

Meanwhile,  a family dispute turn fatal were man allegedly stabbed his 22-year-old son to death in Jharkhand's Latehar district. This horrific incident took place around 10 pm on Friday, April 4, 2026 in the Uchhwabal village in the Manika police station area.

Accused identified as Bineshwar Pahariya who allegedly killed his Sitaram by stabbing with a knife over a family dispute. The accused was drunk. The knife has been recovered," said Prabhat Kumar, the officer-in-charge of Manika police station.
