J&K Police arrests 17 persons for COVID-19 violation

Continuing action against violators of prohibitory orders issued by the government under section 144 CrPC, J&K Police have arrested 17 persons for defying the restriction orders over COVID-19.

Srinagar, March 26 Continuing action against violators of prohibitory orders issued by the government under section 144 CrPC, J&K Police have arrested 17 persons for defying the restriction orders over COVID-19.

Awantipora police have arrested 14 persons for defying prohibitory orders issued and registered a case under relevant section of law.

While Ganderbal police have arrested 3 persons involved in violating the prohibitry orders.

Police have once again requested the general public to follow the restrictions imposed by District Magistrates in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and those who are violating the restrictions will be dealt with strictly.
