In a significant breakthrough, a police team successfully uncovered a cyber fraud gang that had been targeting truck drivers. The operation led to the arrest of 12 individuals, including 11 women and one key mastermind, who were involved in the illegal activity. The gang had been exploiting the vulnerability of truck drivers, engaging in fraudulent activities that caused significant financial losses.

The police recovered a substantial amount of evidence during the arrests. A total of Rs 1,00,000 in cash was seized, along with around 50 mobile phones, several Aadhaar cards, PAN cards, and SIM cards. These materials were used by the gang to perpetrate the fraud, making it difficult for authorities to trace their activities.

The mastermind behind the operation was identified as a central figure who orchestrated the scam, while the women played vital roles in executing the fraudulent transactions. Authorities have expressed relief over the dismantling of this gang, as it had been operating for a considerable amount of time and causing harm to unsuspecting truck drivers.
