Three members of a family were seriously injured in a fire that broke out due to an LPG cylinder blast in a residence in Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu on Friday morning, January 30. According to the information, the incident took place in the TT Nagar area. 

Visuals shared by the news agency IANS show a huge black smoke coming out of a house. Authorities can be seen working to douse the blaze and taking the injured person to an ambulance on a stretcher.

After receiving the information, firefighters and the rescue team, along with local police, reached the spot to contain the blaze. The injured were shifted a government hospital via ambulance. However, it is not yet known how the incident occurred. Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
