The second wave of corona has slowly started receding in the country. Although the number of patients is currently declining, the country was experiencing shortage of oxygen and ventilators during the second wave. But a scientist from Kolkata has come up with a solution. He has created a pocket ventilator. His name is Dr. Ramendra Lal Mukherjee and he is an engineer and is constantly working on such innovations. He had recently invented a battery-powered ventilator. This can bring immediate relief to a patient. Also this ventilator can work easily and is also cheap. Similarly, if the patient has difficulty breathing, it can be very comforting for the patient.

"My body oxygen level had reached 88 during the Corona crisis. My family tried to take me to the hospital, but I came out of the crisis. Then I had an idea to do something to help the patients. After I recovered, I started working on it and in 20 days It was ready, "said Dr. Mukherjee said.

According to the information received, this device has two units. The power and ventilator are connected to the mask. The ventilator starts working after pressing a button. It also delivers pure oxygen to the patient. If any patient is infected with the corona, the UV filter helps eliminate the virus and deliver fresh air to the patient, Mukherjee said. He also claimed that when the number of black fungus patients is increasing, it can be helpful for the patients.

An important feature of this ventilator is that it has a control knob that controls the airflow. It weighs only 250 grams. This ventilator also runs on batteries. Once fully charged, this ventilator works for 8 hours. This ventilator can also be charged with an Android phone charger.
