Negligence by doctors has come to light at a hospital in a medical college. The doctors mistakenly performed surgery on another patient's father instead of the patient. Once they realized the error, they made the patient's father sit outside the operation theater. A complaint has been filed with the hospital administration, and an investigation is underway. The incident occurred on April 12 and has now come to light. This shocking case took place in Kota, Rajasthan. Manish, a resident of the Atru area in Kota district, met with an accident a few days ago and was injured. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. Since he had an injury on his hand, the doctors said surgery would be required. However, in a shocking turn of events, the doctors performed the surgery on Manish’s father instead of him.

The family alleges that the doctors took Manish's father into the operation theater without verifying the patient’s identity and operated on him instead of Manish. The victim's family has submitted a written complaint to the hospital administration regarding the doctors' negligence. Surgery was supposed to be performed on a patient named Jagdish. Incidentally, Manish’s father is also named Jagdish.

While Manish and his father Jagdish were sitting outside the operation theater, another patient with the same name was also waiting there. When hospital staff called out the name "Jagdish," Manish’s father got up and went inside. Without checking his identity card, the hospital staff sedated him without giving him a chance to speak, and the doctors began the surgery.

An incision was made on his hand. Only then did the doctors realize that this was not the correct Jagdish they were supposed to operate on. In a hurry, they stitched up the incision and made him sit outside the operation theater. The victim’s family has lodged a complaint with the hospital administration regarding this incident.

The event has raised serious questions about the hospital's functioning and patient safety. Now, attention is focused on what action the administration will take in this matter.
