Kota, Rajasthan (March 6, 2025): A 28-year-old MBBS student at Kota Medical College died by suicide in his hostel room on Thursday morning. According to reports, police recovered a suicide note in which he apologised to his parents, saying he could not fulfill their dreams.

The final year student, identified as Sunil Bairwa, was a resident of Bassi and lived in Hostel Three. When he was not seen on Wednesday, his hostel mates checked his room that night and found him hanging. They immediately informed Mahaveer Nagar police.

Officers arrived at the scene, brought the body down, and sent it to the mortuary. Authorities have informed the student’s family and called them to Kota. A post-mortem will be conducted with their consent before the body is handed over to them.
